Is it lined?
 

No, by design. The Foundation is unlined so you can choose your own base layer. If you want an integrated liner, the Pursuit 7″ has one built in.

Will it ride up when I squat?
 

Not in the right length. The 7-inch inseam is cut with enough stretch and leg opening to move through a full squat without riding, that's what the extra two inches over a run short are for.

What is a 7-inch inseam, and is it right for me?
 

Inseam is the seam length from crotch to hem, seven inches lands just above the knee on most builds. It's the length for gym work and general training, where coverage is more useful than stride clearance. For running, the Velocity 5″ gives more clearance.
